Hi, my name is Zana Ballantyne
In a world that’s moving at a hundred miles an hour, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed, and forget your purpose and passion. My passion is helping people find their dream careers, empowering people to do better in their chosen field, and working with teams to facilitate powerful sessions that have a real impact. How did all of this come about?
WHY i love working with people like you
I believe everybody deserves the chance to grow their potential. I give you a way to let go of what’s holding you back and discover how to be the best version of you to take you where you want to really go.
Every day, I get energised by empowering people just like you, developing confidence and fulfilling potential both professionally and personally. I’ve truly found my sweet spot!
This is what life is like when you are in flow and aligned with your purpose and I want everybody to be able to wake up and look forward to the day ahead, confidently doing whatever makes them feel fulfilled.
HOW IT ALL STARTED
I’ve been helping people learn a new way of thinking and behaving for quite some time, but it started to gain momentum when I became a regional trainer for Hungry Jacks in my later teens.
It wasn’t until a confidence-crushing experience in 2013 that I realised the power of good leadership versus poor leadership. I was working in an organisation that squashed innovation and people’s ability to do their job. Despite my 20+ years of experience in learning and development and having held several leadership positions, my skills and expertise in developing people, leading and influencing organisational change were not valued. I was incredibly unhappy and began to question my own abilities. So, realising that I wasn’t able to make the positive difference that I had made at other companies, I left while I still had a shred of self-esteem.
I know what it’s like to feel dissatisfied in your job, questioning if you’re actually making a difference, like you’re not in your zone, and unsure about how to get your spark back. I’ve always known my purpose was to empower and grow others. If only I’d found a coach to help me find my way, reignite my confidence and keep me accountable.
I took a leap and spent a year studying Organisational Coaching. Trusting my instincts and devoting myself to my passions really paid off. I had a renewed vigour for working with individuals and teams to create effective communication, empowerment and finding clarity through coaching. Yes, my career in coaching was finally discovered.
WHERE AM I TODAY?
Now I aspire to challenge myself and learn more every day. Most importantly I focus on my clients, challenge them with intention and keep them accountable to achieving their goals.
People come to me for several reasons, which can be summarised into the following:
- Clarity and focus on what they want their next role to look like
- Curiosity and intention on how to lead themselves or others better
- Confidence and skills in managing challenging behaviours and ineffective communication
